FBCSA Charity Golf Day On 15 April 2010, the FBCSA hosted a Charity Golf Day at the Irene Country Club to raise funds for the SAVA Community Veterinary Clinics. The vets show immense dedication and do tremendous work in bringing health care and treatment - ranging from basic vaccinations to surgery - to pets in rural areas whose owners are seldom able to afford such care. The CVC rely completely on funding and donations so it was wonderful for the FBCSA to be able to get involved and help towards this meaningful cause. The turnout of golfers and supporters was great and our celebrity - Toyota's Buddy - charmed everyone with his lovely, friendly and accommodating nature, posing tirelessly for photographs and making it an even more special day for all taking part. A worthwhile day on the golf course was followed by dinner and the presenting of prizes, with the best player going home with a laptop.
