On Saturday 01 May 2010, the Northern Boxer Club hosted a Dog Walk at Irene Country Club amidst beautiful surroundings. A wonderful turnout of 70 people joined us with their dogs. After an invigorating 2.5km walk - which included a strenuous climb (made easier for some of us when hauled up the hill by a powerful and enthusiastic Boxer dog) - we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Smuts House. The walk was scenically lovely and the service at the restaurant was great. With the encouraging turnout this year of people and dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes, we will definitely return! If you were unable to join us this year, hope to see you at our next dog walk!
